For An Internet Angel

Soft whispers tap tap taping
Cobwebs in my mind asunder
The new born birds flapping
Gliding in my dreams to plunder

I wake to find a dream beside me
Sleeping to find that waking is false
Tumbling silk of terrible fantasy
I stand only for dream's cause

She is moonlight dancing across
My skin reflects celestial ballet
The world tilts in utter chaos
Distant she dances out of habit

A smile from her melts me down
Would she be real and not a dream
Spinning around in midnight gown
Laugh of the most gentle stream

Her face is both gentle and warm
Strangers speaking of friendship
I wish to hold her during the storm
Falls from by arms away she slips

A dream of an angel I hope meet
Move along hoping to intertwine
Bottomless eyes and smile so sweet
Perhaps one day you will be mine
