Falling

Down Down Down I fall
She holds out her hand
She doesn't reach for mine
Where will she go, where do I
Fall

Her hollow where she stood
Before smiles at me and brushes
Her betraying hand across my face
The shadow of her lips press
Mine

The flames of my loss burn
My heart from the inside
Destroying my body and shredding
My insides with choking
Smoke

Making my eyes sting red
Watching the flames burn
Tearing down the walls
Like a black cloud over the
Ocean

Deep Deep Deep I lay
Smouldering under water
Laying broken I flounder
Volcanic vents sear my
Flesh

Virtue sooths my yearning
Her old love inspires me to
Do great things in the name
Of a love that is forever lost
